Refund Policy

At Model Cars Houston, we have a strict no refund policy in place for all purchases, except in the event that an item is damaged during shipping or transit.  If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, and we will work with you to provide a partial credit for customer repair, replacement or issue a refund. To qualify for a refund, the damaged item must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@modelcarshouston.com.  If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
At Model Cars Houston, we take great care in packaging and shipping our products to ensure they arrive safely. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a damaged item, we have a policy in place to address the issue promptly.

If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of receiving your order. We may ask you to provide photos or other documentation of the damage to help us understand the extent of the problem. We will work with you to provide a replacement or issue a refund as soon as possible.

Please note that it is important to contact us immediately to report any damage. If we are not notified within 48 hours of receipt of the item, we will not offer a replacement or refund.

We value your satisfaction with our products and services and will do everything we can to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Exceptions / non-returnable items
Our policy for sale items and gift cards is that all sales are final, and we do not offer any returns or exchanges. This policy applies to both in-store and online purchases. We encourage you to carefully review the details of the sale item or gift card before making a purchase to ensure it meets your needs and expectations.

Please note that this policy is in place to ensure that we can offer these items at a discounted price and to prevent abuse of our return policy. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
