It is a model that faithfully reproduces the full carbon complete vehicle "Garage Active Carbon GT-R (BNR32)" manufactured at the GT-R pro shop "Garage Active" in Fukuoka Prefecture. This model reproduces the vehicle replaced with RB30.
Based in Fukuoka, "Garage Active" is a popular shop that has a wealth of knowledge and is loved by many GT-R fans.
At the 2018 Auto Salon, we exhibited and announced the wide body for R32, which was carefully developed by the representative Mr. Sakamoto.
The first decision we made when developing was the ideal suspension and wheels. The development was done in the reverse order of deciding the best 19 inches + offset and creating the ideal body line from it. We have created a powerful over fender without breaking the genuine BNR32 line.
This time, the carbon body is painted with clear red to give it a red carbon finish.
The interior incorporates a gusseted roll cage that penetrates the dashboard. The front seats were replaced with RECARO, and instead of the rear seats, Garage Active special rear seats were fitted with bars.
As for the wheels, we have newly produced a custom-made "RC-VI" for Garage Active. A 6-spoke forged wheel with a deep rim that is perfect for a wide body.
The model was measured and photographed with the cooperation of Garage Active to create 3D data.
We have developed a model that can be said to be the definitive edition using 3D scanning, measuring, and photographs taken from various angles.
The carbon reproduction, which can be said to be the highlight of this model, is made by sticking decals one by one and coating with urethane clear.
The wheels are a precise reproduction of "RC-VI" using sawn parts.
For the interior, a roll bar, Recaro seat, steering, and rear seatless cover have been newly developed. We will completely reproduce the RB30 modified specifications. We will use a large acrylic base (white) and a nameplate made of genuine carbon material for the nameplate.
About Make Up Co., Ltd.:
Our make-up was born in a room in "Central Apartment" in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1978.
Its history begins when our representative Hideyuki Uemoto was inspired by the model culture of his area at the annual "Model Engineer Exhibition" held at Wembley Park in the United Kingdom.
Here, we will deliver the history of our company by interweaving Uemoto's own recollections.
