After the 911 (901) and 930 series, the 964 series appeared in 1989 as the third generation Porsche 911. The generational change from the 930 to the 964 seemed to be a change of about an updated version that kept the traditional frog eye like the 911 in looks and improved aerodynamic performance, but in fact it was a full model change with 80% of the parts of the car body renewed. The suspension has also been changed from the torsion bar of the 930 series to coil springs, and the lineup of 4WD models that fed back the technology acquired in the 959 is also available, and it is also a generation that has modernized at once.
After that, after the appearance of the 993 series in 1993, it was also a period when it became a model one generation ago and became valuable, and it also became easy to modify the undercarriage by coil springing, so it became loved as a custom/tuning base. However, since the 996 series that appeared in 1997 made the engine water-cooled, the 911 fundamentalist value sticking to the air-cooled engine became stronger, the price of used cars continued to rise, and now it is becoming ridiculous to casually customize the air-cooled 911.
Until now, our Porsche model lineup has placed emphasis on factory stock (normal) and reproduction of real racing machines, but this time as a new product, we will release the 964 series "Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS 1992 BBS 18-inch wheels" with street custom.
I imagined it only about 10 years ago, but the 964 series is still reasonable, reminiscent of the era when you could enjoy custom with ease, it will be a vehicle decided by the stance system vehicle height and wheel choice.
Indeed, even though it is a reasonable era, the TSWAMONO customizing the RS should have been a super rare case, but please enjoy the luxury of customizing the "roled" grade by interweaving fantasy unique to model cars here.
The wheel seems to be a stance system that originated in Europe, and it combines BBS's iconic wheel, RS, with flat tires that seem to be pulling according to the theory of actual car custom.
The wheels, which are the best part of the model, are painstaking, incorporating aluminum ground rims, etched mesh (disc parts), and center caps with brass grind plated parts.
Our make-up was born in a room in "Central Apartment" in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1978.
Its history begins when our representative Hideyuki Uemoto was inspired by the model culture of his area at the annual "Model Engineer Exhibition" held at Wembley Park in the United Kingdom.
Here, we will deliver the history of our company by interweaving Uemoto's own recollections.
